Sunday and It's time once again for our weekly short session, Their's a few on today and of course more anglers means more pressure even more so with the average Carp angler uses Three rods nowadays

Speaking to those present It's been a hard day so far by all accounts with only a handful of Carp being captured, One or Two were on the verge of pulling off as we scouted around the lake for a swim, By 4.00pm we'd both found Two swims we were happy with, We then set up then baited up hoping to put One or Two Carp for ourselves on the bank?

( Marc ) bagged an early fish less than Thirty minutes Into the session only a small Carp but he was happy to get off the mark, The evening had a very autumnal feel to It the previous evening had been cold also summer Is slowly fading away sadly

Watching the water for signs as we always do we discovered far less activity than we did the previous week, Last week It was fizzing galore this week was the total opposite nothing emerged until around tea time? After a recast I ( Matt ) finally got my reward In the way of this lovely little Mirror which took a liking for a Key Cultured hookbait which was presented over a generous offering of 4G Squid

No sooner had I got the rod back on the spot and topped It back up with more 4G Squid It was away again but this time around It wasn't a Carp

After I'd checked the hook point and cleared the dreaded slime of the hook length back on the spot It went complemented with more 4G Squid, I had to wait a bit longer this time around but finally of It rattled again and I bagged my third Carp of the session and the biggest of the evening
