SHORT SESSION SUNDAY ( 23. 8. 2015 )

So last week ( Marc's ) younger son ( Evan ) Joined us for his first taste of Carp fishing, This week ( Evans ) sister ( Ellie ) takes his place and were all heading out for an afternoons floater fishing



The day began warm and sunny towards lunchtime the blue skies departed and the grey skies arrived bringing with It rain, The air temperature was high and conditions looked great for the surface



Our local commercial fishery was our venue choice, Reasons being It contains a good head of fish, The swims are comfortable which Is essential for a young child and surface fishing Is allowed



( Marc ) opted to free line his hook bait were I ( Matt ) was using a small controller float Just In case I needed to cast at range? Free offerings consisted of Nash baits riser pellets and Imitation dog biscuits presented on hair rigs

Thanks to the trusted Spomb I ( Matt ) Introduced the riser pellet In great volume with ease, With In minutes I had Carp feeding and I kept on feeding for a good Thirty minutes building the Carps confidence before I Introduced my hook bait



It did not take long before the first Carp was In the bag, Using my Nine feet Free Spirit Margin Creepers the fight was Immense really great fun



( Marc ) and ( Ellie ) were both angling to my Right leaving out a few swims to give us all plenty of room, It did not take them long either to get their net wet, Please view the gallery below to see a few stills we took during the session
