The Start Of Another Week Has Arrived  And Myself ( Matt ) And ( Marc ) Are Once Again Heading To The Waters Edge For Short Session Number Two Of This Years Campaign

We'll Begin This Week Talking About The Conditions That Face Us Today, Over The Weekend Temperatures Have Dropped But Were Pleased To Say That The Air Temperature Remains In Double Figures, We Have Had Some Frequent Spells Of Showery Rain Which Is No Surprise In April And Shortly After Arriving Which Was Around ( 3.30pm ) We Experienced A Very Heavy Down Pour Indeed, As Quick As We Tried To Erect Our Brolly's The Tackle And Ourselves Had A Damn Good Soaking, This Lasted For Around Thirty Minutes Then Cleared To Leave A Very Pleasant Evening

  *** WATER TEMPERATURES ***

Last Weeks Reading Read That The Water Was Thirteen And A Half Degrees Which Is Near Perfect For Carp Fishing, Speaking To A Few Lads On Social Media Saturday And Sunday They Told Me Their Waters Were Between Eleven And Twelve Degrees, So We Were Both Expecting A Decrease In Temperature On Our Venue?, Today's Reading Showed Twelve And A Half So Their Had Been A Slight Drop But Nothing To Cause Any Great Concern

Right Then On To The Session, On Arrival We Were Both Very Surprised To See That Their Was Nobody Else Present, The Same Swims As Last Week Looked Very Good Again So The Easy Decision Was Made And We Both Jumped In Them And Began Setting Up

( Marc ) Stuck To His Guns Again Regards Bait And Presentations, ( CM2 ) Bottom Baits And
( Fresh Orange ) Pop Up's Snowman Style Were Cast To Open Water Spots, Followed By A Light Peppering Of Free Offerings

Myself ( Matt ) My Left Hand And Middle Rod Were Exactly The Same As ( Marc's ) But My Right Hand Rod Which Was Fished To A Marginal Area That Rod I Had Decided To Change The Presentation In The Way Of A Naked Chod Rig

This Spot Was Really Choddy Last Week And On Checking Again This Week It Was No Different, I Think I Got My Presentation Last Week ( Snowman Rig ) On This Spot Wrong, Presenting A White 12mm
( Fresh Orange ) Pop Up On A Very Small Hook Length Over A Light Peppering Of Chopped Boilie I Felt A Lot More Confident Of This Rod Hopefully Producing Me A Bite

By ( 4.15 pm ) All Rods Were Out And We Were Fishing, With Easter Just Around The Corner Hot Cross Buns And A Nice Coffee Filled The Gap As We Watched The Water For Signs, We Could Of Only Been Angling Forty Five Minutes? When ( Matt's ) Right Hand Rod Sprung Into Life And Their Was A Fish On.

This Capture Did It All In The Margins But Eventally It Hit The Net And After Weighing ( Matt ) Had Gone And Bagged His First Twenty Of The Season, A Really Great Conditioned Common At
'' 20lb 2oz ''

I Was Delighted With This Capture And A Great Start To The Session

We Had A Spell Two Hours Possibly Slightly Longer? Of Non Action Then It Was ( Marc's ) Turn To Get In On The Action, Now The Fight We Both Witnessed From This Carp Was Nothing Short Of Immense, It Fought To The Dear End It Took Him Every Where, When ( Marc ) Finally Gained The Upper Hand And Netted His Prize We Both Looked Back In Amazement, ( Marc ) Had Banked A Fine Specimen Which Pulled The Scales Around To '' 22lb 5oz ''

( MARC ) WITH HIS STUNNING COMMON

Something  I Did Not Mention Earlier Is As Follows, Not Long After ( Marc ) Had Un Hooked And Weighed The Stunning Capture Pictured Above His Middle Rod Also Screamed Off, The Capture On That Rod Was Slightly Smaller We Did Not Weigh It But It Was Easily An Upper Double Some Where In The Region Of Sixteen / Seventeen Pound, Amazing All Is Quiet Then Two Carp Grace The Bank With In Minutes
