Introduction Over! On To This Weeks Blog

I'm Out Angling In This Session With ( Marc ) In My Video Blog Series The (Brolly Blog) I Mentioned In Update 17 That I Would Not Be Angling Again After That Session Until My Return From France Which Begins This Weekend ( 31 . 8. 2013 ) But With Work Allowing I Was Lucky Enough To Get Out Again And Wet A Line So That Is Exactly What I Did And By 3.45 PM Myself And (Marc) Had Both Arrived At The Venue.

Conditions Were Far From Ideal It Had Been Quite A Sunny Day And High Pressure Also Greeted Us With Highs Of (20 +) Degrees, You'll Get To Know This Through Out My Blogging That I (Matt) Love It Overcast, Light Winds And Even Light Rain When I'm Out Angling. This Get's Mentioned A Lot In My Writing! (Apologies In Advance)

A Nice Wind Was Present So That Was One Thing I Wanted Out Of Three Mother Nature Had Already Decided On The Other Two. Myself And (Marc) Were Both Angling From A Large Swim  Which Is Comfortable For Two Anglers (Matt) On The Right And (Marc) On The Left.

We Both Favour The (Snowman) Presentation In Our Angling Obviously If Conditions Allow? And In This Session They Do Fishing Over Thick Silt, (Marc) Using That Presentation On All Three Rods Where's I (Matt) Was Using It On Two And A Naked Chod Rig On My Third Rod.

(Baits)

Just A Quick Mention On These For The Purpose Of New Readers, All The Baits We Use Are Our Own Creations Which We  Have All Call ( No Wait On Bait ) Products, Range Etc.

(Marc's) Choice Of Bait And It Has Been Now For A Good Two Years Is The (Fizz)

(Matt's) Choice And A New Bait For 2013 Is A Bait Called (CM1)

All Rods Were On The Spots By Around 4.15 PM And Keeping One Eye On The Water Whilst Tackling Up Things Looked Very Encouraging Indeed, Seeing Numerous Fizzing And The Odd Show From Mr Carp, I (Matt) Was Even More Excited When I Spotted My Chod Rig By Dropping It Into A Tight Corner Instantly I Could See Plooms Of Bubbles In The Surrounding Area, And By The Time I'd Walked Back To My Swim And Dropped The Rod On The Delkim The Tip Swung Around And I Was In, This Rod Was The Naked Choddy Set Up Which I Had Fished Over A Good Helping Of Chopped White (Fizz) Bottom Baits Complemented By A Bait Works (Scent From Hell) Pop Up. I've Been Using These Pop Up's Now For A Good Month And I'm Very Impressed, As Previously Mentioned I'm Using The (CM1) In My Angling This Year But After Raiding The Freezer At Home I Found Some White Bottom Baits Which I Thought Would Be Perfect To Fish Over The (Scent From Hell) Pop Up And So Far It Looks Like My Plan Had Come Together.

CAPTURE NUMBER ONE

Picture
Fantastic Start And Always Nice To Kick Start Any Session Off With An Early Fish Regardless The Weight And It Was Nearly A Second In As Many Minutes When Soon After Returning That Capture My Middle Rod Was Away, But When Pulling Into It I Felt No Resistance Very Strange!

What Happened Next Consisted Of Two Things, Water Watching And Coffee Drinking From Such A Frantic Start To A Sudden Stalemate The Delkim's Remained Silent And Our Bobbins Grounded

It Wasn't Till Around 8.00 PM Did We See Any Tell Tale Signs Of Carp, When The Fizzing Of Bubbles Returned Over A Few Of Our Spots, (Marc) Is Yet To Blank This Season (Some Achievement) And I'm Not One For Throwing The Towel In Early! But Things Were Not Looking So Good At The Moment, Plus With The Nights Starting To Draw In Now Time Was Not On Our Side With Just Over Forty Minutes Of Angling Left.

I've Fished With (Marc) Now For Many Years And Not Blowing His Trumpet In So Many Words But There's Not Many Anglers Who I Have Fished With That Work As Hard At His Angling As He Does And His Efforts Paid Off With Minutes To Spare With This Little Stunner We Named Black Spot.
