SHORT SESSION MONDAY ( 16. 6. 2014 )

A Rather late start this week and the rods didn't find the spots until nearly gone ( 6.00 PM ), But a few hours Is better than none and were out their doing It again In search of a carp or two

Usual swims, spots and rigs, On the bait front their has been a slight change, It's been well documented In a lot of our blogs regards one of our flagship baits the ( Fizz ), And after some research and a long hard think we have produced the same bait but with a twist by adding a nut base to It, Also not to get confused we have also given this bait a different name and called It ( Fruit and Nut )

This bait will be on test now up until August and If successful? and perhaps after the odd tweak here and their? we plan to take this creation over seas In October to France, For years now we have fished In France but have never taken this bait on our travels, being October we think this bait will be perfect for that time of the year. It will be Interesting to see our results whilst using It In the UK and we'll keep you all updated on It's progress

FRUIT AND NUT

On with the session and things started really well Indeed bagging a small upper common within twenty minutes of the rods going out, And the bait which did the business was the ( Fruit and Nut ), I'd Introduced a decent amount from the off and this capture was crapping the stuff out all over my unhooking mat which was pleasing to see, It's very early days of course with this bait but an early capture Is always nice

MID DOUBLE COMMON

Shortly after returning this capture ( Marc ) opened his account and bagged himself a common roughly the same size, with two early fish under our belts things looked good and we were quietly confident of plenty of action during this weeks session, how wrong we were from then on we struggled to achieve any more action regardless how hard we tried

An angler departing who had been angling since midday had experienced more or less the same, He'd managed to bag himself a few early fish but for the rest of the day he really struggled, An Interesting thing he also mentioned was that he'd managed to get out last Friday too and It looked like the lakes residents had made another attempt to spawn? If they Had? this maybe one of the reasons why It was so hard going this evening?

Another theory myself and ( Marc ) had was the fish were not In the area In great numbers? And the ones we had been lucky enough to catch were stragglers? We viewed numerous shows In the later stages of the session, all at range and well away from were we were angling

Overall a very tough session but we caught and did not blank, Hopefully we can do It all again next week?

Until the next blog TIGHT LINES And HAPPY ANGLING
