KEVIN'S DAY ( 14. 8. 2014 )

Thursday 14th August 2014 myself  Matt  and good friend  Nick Rudge  are heading for Lemington Lakes In Gloucestershire for a day of celebration In remembrance of former Improve Your Course fishing editor  Kevin Green 



The day has been organised by one of  Kevin's  good friends  Brian Skoyles , Brian  Is a very respected angler and appeared with Kevin In the well known TV series Carp Crew

There Is plenty going on throughout the day at this stunning venue


On sunset lake Nigel Botherway, Mick Brown, Julian Chidgey, Jan Porter and Rich Wilby were using a variety of styles to target tench



On Bishops lake Terry Hearn and Ian Macmillan were hoping to get up close and personal with the large carp that Inhabit this lake, Terry I'm pleased to say did not disappoint and captured two nice commons

TERRY SORTING OUT A LOVELY COMMON

On Abbey lake which Is a mixed fishery top anglers Dave Batten, Alex Bones, Adam Fisher, Bob Roberts and James Robbins were using various styles and offering one - to - one coaching



Westminster Lake was home to a variety of big names from the world of carp fishing such as James Armstrong, Chuck Backhouse, Gary Bayes, Alan Blair, Bill Cottam, Julian Cundiff, Graham Drewery, Andrew Endean, Bryan Jarrett, Jon '' Shoes '' Jones, Ian Russell, Simon Scott and Bernard Sisson


They were all offering bait and rig advice a chance to watch them In action or simply to Just stop by for a chat, Below are a few stills taken during this wonderful day
