DAY SESSION MONDAY 8th OCTOBER ( 2013 )

The Start Of A New Week And Myself And ( Marc ) Are Gracing The Banks On Our New Water For A Full Day Session.

Most Of Our Angling Is Short Session Based So To Get A Full Day In Well You Can Imagine Neither Of Us Could Wait To Wet A Line, Arriving Just After 7.00 AM We Found One Other Angler Present He Had Done The Night Banking Four Carp.

He Told Us That Over The W'end The Odd Fish Had Come Out But Overall The Lake Had Fished Hard, Not For The First Time This Year Myself And ( Marc ) Decided To Set Up In The Same Swim Which We Both Fished In, In Our Last Session.

As Always We Went For A Look First But The Temptation To Pit Our Wits Again In That Swim Was To Great And With The Conditions Being Warm And Overcast It Looked Perfect!!!

The Last Seven Days Weather Wise Has Been Superb With Highs Between 18 / 20 Degrees Where Now Into Autumn And To Get Temperatures Like This Is Rare, So Being Able To Get Out Angling During This Spell We've Both Been Very Lucky Indeed.

BAITS AND TACTICS

Nothings Changed Here Were Both Still Using The Snowman Presentation But Bait Wise ( Marc ) Has Decided In A Change And In This Session Like Me Is Applying The ( CM1 ) GOOD CHOICE!!!

THE SESSION

It Was Around 7.30 AM When All Three Rods Hit There Spots And We Both Sat Back To Enjoy The First Coffee Of The Day And Begin The First Of Many Carpy Chat's.

The First Bite Of The Day Came Minutes After When ( Matt's ) Right Hand Rod Sprung Into Action Resulting In Him Banking One Of The Lakes Smaller Residents.

EARLY START

A Lovely Clean Fish And One For The Future Also Pleasing To Open My Account So Early In The Session.

The Action Didn't Stop Their And ( Marc ) Was Also To Experience Some Early Morning Action With Two Of His Rods Screaming Off Within Minutes, His First Capture Was Of The Same Stamp As Mine But His Second Was What Was To Be The Pick Of All ( Marc's ) Captures On The Day.

This Carp Gave Him One Hell Of A Merry Dance All Over His Swim But Finally It Was Beat And Netted Safe.

On The Scales It Went ( 21lb 13oz )

And As The Still Below Shows It Looked Stunning In It's Early Autumn / Winter Colours.

PRETTY

( Marc ) Is Having A Superb Season And ( LISTEN TO THIS ) Yet To Blank All Campaign Simply Brilliant Angling!!!

We Had A Very Quiet Spell For A Few Hours As The Sun Was Doing It's Best To Break Through The Clouds, For A While It Did But Did Not Shine For Long Which I ( Matt ) Was Pleased About.

After A Spot Of Lunch I ( Matt ) Was Back In ( Marc's ) Swim Playing Gilly As I Netted What Was To Be Yet Another 20lb Fish And The Third Of The Session For ( Marc )

ANOTHER TWENTY

With The Nights Drawing In Now Dusk Was To Fall Around 6.50pm?

And After ( Marc ) Returned His Latest Capture I ( Matt ) Still Felt Confident One Of Us Would Still Be In For Some More Action.

And That Prediction Was Correct As At Last Knockings ( Matt's ) Right Hander Was Away Again Bagging Fish Number Two Of The Session And His Biggest
