September.....

Bringing you up to speed

in my last update I told you all that the UK was currently experiencing a heat wave

July is now upon us and Summer has well and truly landed, the sun continues to shine, the water temperature is up, and the carp I'm pleased to say are up for a feed

I'm continuing to angle on my new Club water, I haven't fished my other water for sometime now, the new water has somewhat pre occupied me

I have nothing to tell any of you regards my rigs and bait, as the saying goes if it isn't broke? don't fix it!

and I continue to use my ever faithful Twisted Multi Rigs and Scopex Squid

On the subject of Scopex Squid, I'm not one of those anglers who purchases a bag of bait and takes it straight to the waters edge

my free offerings go through a process called glugging and glazing, it's very easy to do and this next section explains how you can also glug and glaze your chosen boilies

I use stabilised Scopex Squid in 15mm, I then introduce around 5kg of bait to a bucket, the next job is to introduce a good amount of Scopex Squid syrup, making sure that every boilie is coated

the final job is to add some Scopex Squid stick mix, this absorbs the syrup and leaves my free offerings with a lovely rough coating, I normally complete the glugging and glazing process a good twenty four hours before my session, which gives my free offerings more than enough time to take in all of the syrup which packs my bait with plenty of flavour

this process is by no means cheap, but boy is it effective, it cloud's the water and the stick mix is reactive from the off when it hits the water, which ensures me their is plenty of activity being created on my chosen spots

Glugging and glazing completed.....

I previously mentioned in this update that the carp were up for a feed

tight lines and happy angling
