I've no doubt mentioned this in previous updates, so I apologise if I'm sounding repetitive?
my new Club lake is now my full focus
I maybe tempted to venture on my other water during the Winter?
the carp in my new Club lake are without a doubt some of the hardest fighting carp I have angled for during twenty plus years of carp fishing, they are also predominantly common carp which to me is absolute heaven
All of my captures to date have been either of double figures or twenty pound plus
I have no idea of the lakes exact stock which to me is magical
the unknown IMO doesn't hurt any carp angler
They clearly love their boilies, and I'm not surprised in the slightest how they have responded to the banquet which I have been dishing up all year
Scopex Squid is a bait I have used for many years now both overseas and in the UK, and it's caught me hundreds if not thousands of carp?
regarding the pop ups which I present my ever faithful Twisted Multi Rigs over the Scopex Squid, white has produced the more consistent results
Twisted Multi Rigs.....
The carp in this lake are of many different sizes, shapes and proportions, and one or two characters have graced my net along the way, one that stands out is a carp called Nelson, no guesses as to how it got it's name
Before I sign of again for another month
please enjoy the slide show below of some more of my Club lake captures
Thanks for reading tight lines and happy angling
