June.....

Carrying on where I left off

it's always nice to get the first carp under the belt from a new water, I drove home that evening with a big smile on my face

the following week was visit number three to the new Club water, and on this session the weather had improved dramatically

there wasn't a cloud in the sky, the sun was shining, and the air temperature was well into double figures

during my lap around the lake, it was evident that a lot of carp were patrolling the margins
and I found myself a lovely looking swim at the top of the lake under a over hanging tree

The rods couldn't have been out for more than an hour when my right hander which was spotted in the margin was away

After such a quick bite it wasn't until the final hour of the session that I experienced some more action, the same rod was away again

Correct me if I am wrong? but I'm not sure if I have written about my favoured presentation which I use on all of my waters

those of you who are avid readers of my blog? will know that it hasn't changed, and it's a presentation which I have the up most faith and confidence in

nicknamed the Twisted Multi Rig, a size eight hook complemented with a twelve millimetre pop up, simple yet very effective!

Before I wrap things up for another month, a word on my other Club water

I've been flip flopping and enjoyed the odd session still in-between fishing the new Club water, since I captured a brace in March the fishing has been very tough indeed

saying that I did manage to capture a nice common from their only a few weeks ago, which I will write about in more detail in a future update

until my July update, thanks for reading, happy angling and tight lines
