I'm back on my new Club lake and the weather continues to be unsettled
sun, wind, heavy showers and even hail, mother nature has well and truly thrown the kitchen sink at me
It felt more like March.....
My Wednesday session resulted in a blank
I returned on the Thursday and was greeted to more unsettled weather, thanks to my Nash Profile X brolly I kept dry and was comfortable
it was looking as if I was heading for a second blank? that was until my right hander sprung into life with just sixty minutes of the session remaining
I was happy with this one.....
Such a shame about the tail damage, apart from that this was a cracking common and my biggest capture from the new venue so far
it just goes to show that it's never over until it's over, making sure that the rods are always the last things to get packed away
the following week and conditions remained the same
No change whatsoever.....
But that hadn't put the carp off, as I went onto catch two more lovely commons and my first mirror from the new Club lake
Two commons and a mirror.....
Before I wrap things up for another month, as promised here's an update on a session I did on my other Club water
it's never been an easy water, keeping updated with what's been going on thanks to the powers of Social Media
I soon discovered that the venue had seriously got one on it, and it's resident carp were even more elusive
as always you can't catch them at home, so when this one slipped up I was more than happy
By no means a monster, but a common in superb condition
until next months update, thanks for reading, tight lines and happy angling
