HAUNTED REDMIRE

Redmire Pool is reported to be haunted? and I'm not talking about big fish

carp anglers who have enjoyed the peace and tranquility of this famous little lake have reported numerous incidents over the years particularly in a swim called '' The Oaks ''

the rigid tops of bivvies have been banged suddenly in the night, some anglers have reported being held down on their bedchairs by an invisible presence?

the sound of children laughing is another incident commonly reported, and the inexplicable playing of old time gramophone music has been heard?

I'll leave anybody reading this piece to make up their own minds?

​but it does make you wonder sometimes if you really are the only one in the swim?
