When it comes to presentations I'll hold my hands up and say I'm pretty boring and I don't like change
all carp anglers need two presentations in their armoury which will enable them to cover most situations.....
* A bottom bait rig
* A pop up rig
the three presentations I'm covering below are my go to presentations and are their what I call '' perfect presentations ''

The Snowman Rig...

The Snowman Rig, a presentation which is very simple to construct and extremely effective in catching carp
to tie this rig you will need just five rig components, a good quality, sharp curved shank hook, a coated braid, a rig ring, shrink tubing, and a size eight swivel
(tungsten putty will also need to be used to pin down the hook link)
being honest I could not tell any of you how many carp over the years both in the UK and over seas in France that have slipped up on my rods whilst using this rig?
if I'm fishing over a hard, clay, sandy, gravely or lightly silted lake bed? this is the first presentation I choose to use
The Twisted Multi Rig...

The Multi Rig or after a little tweak a presentation I call the Twisted Multi Rig
this is my go to pop up presentation, no doubt you'll have seen the well documented
Multi Rig either in magazines or on social media?
to tie this rig you will need just five components, a good quality, sharp chod style hook, a rig ring or bait screw (your preference), shrink tubing, coated braid, and a size eight swivel
(tungsten putty will also need to be used to anchor your pop up and pin down hook link)
my version is exactly the same when tied as any normal Multi Rig, the only tweak that I make is by adding a shrink tube kicker,
this will not allow you to inter change your hook, but what it will do hence the reason I add the shrink
tubing
is that it makes it so much harder for a carp to eject and deal with this presentation once it enters their
mouths, some of the hook holds that I have encountered over the years have been unreal

The Fang Gyro Rig...

This presentation being honest is a relatively new one which I have added to my armoury for use with my solid bag fishing
the Fang Gyro presentation get's it's name from the pattern of hook I use for this rig which are available from Nash Tackle's Pinpoint range
but it is more commonly known as the Ronnie or Spinner Rig
this presentation is to be used with a pop up, and tied to a short quality braided hook link, it makes the perfect presentation whilst using solid bags, the hook holds are fantastic
the reasoning for my preference in choice of Nash Tackle's Fang Gyro hooks is that the ring attached to their hooks which enables the hook to rotate 360 degrees after it has been counter balanced with tungsten putty are fixed
unlike some other patterns on the market who use a quick change swivel
