Anybody who know's me personally or who follows Carp Marathon on social media?
will know that I'm a dedicated Nash Tackle and Nash Bait user
I honestly couldn't give you a time scale as to how long Scopex Squid has been in my armoury
let alone how many carp this wonderful bait has caught me?
I've been a carp angler now for over twenty years, and I'm sure many of you reading this have tried your hands at making bait?
confession time I'm one of those, certainly during my teenage years I was forever pottering about in the garage making plenty of mess let alone some foul smells
during the last decade (2010 - 2020) the majority of my angling has consisted around pop up's
it's a very rare these days that I use a bottom bait unless the fishing situation I'm faced with requires me to?
during those last ten years I've created my own personal pop up which I've have named (Carp Marathon Specials)
I'm not about to carry on my ramblings by saying this is the next wonder bait far from it
but what I will say is that it complements my free offerings superbly, and fished well it's caught me carp in both the UK and in France, over the years I've given it to some of my close friends who I'm delighted to say have also achieved some fantastic results
It's not a bait which is the first to be selected out of my pop up bucket, but it's always in the armoury and it's a lovely edge to have knowing nobody else will be using the same bait
who knows I might even bring onto the market one day?, thanks for reading, and this piece was written to simply complement
